Posted on: 03/21/2018
The recall of about 1.3 million 2014-18 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ autos is for the possibility that the steering wheel can detach from the steering column.
Vehicles included in the recall could have bolts that hold the wheel to the column loosen and result in the steering wheel pull loose.
The vehicles included in the recall are:
- 2014-17 Ford Fusion vehicles built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant from Aug. 6, 2013 to Feb. 29, 2016.
- 2014-18 Ford Fusion vehicles built at Hermosillo Assembly Plant from July 25, 2013 to March 5, 2018.
- 2014-18 Lincoln MKZ vehicles built at Hermosillo Assembly Plant from July 25, 2013 to March 5, 2018.
