An Incentive War Is Brewing with Pickup Trucks
Posted on: 10/14/2016
It's happening. The biggest incentives on full-sized pickups since 2008 are under way.
In September for the first time in years the Ram pickup sold more units than the Chevrolet Silverado. Needless to say, the Ford F-series pickup remained as the best-selling pickup of the month.
The Ford F-series sold 67,809 units and ended the month with a 2.6 sales decrease from the same month in 2015. The F-series has a year-to-date increase.
Great news for the Ram pickup in September with total deliveries of 47,792 units for a huge increase of 30.6%. The Ram also has a year-to-date increase.
The Chevrolet Silverado finished the month in third place in total sales with 45,380 units. For the month this was a 15.5% decrease and year-to-date the Silverado is down 3.5%.
Shop wisely and do your research if a new pickup is your choice of transportation.
